All words on the Word Wall

Talk together

  • Which column has more?
  • How many days did we record?
  • Which days have no mark?

Get ready

  • Completed monthly sky page, three weather cards and counters too large to swallow.

Safety

  • A grown-up stays close. Never look at the Sun; use hats, sunscreen and shade breaks. The adult checks surfaces first; do not touch anything hot.

How to help

Let your child listen, look and try before you explain. Point to the next picture if needed. Accept drawing, pointing or a voice response; writing is optional. Save the child’s own work with a date. Ask for a clue from the picture, source or test instead of supplying an answer. Notice what changed after your child tried the task.
