Listen and try

  1. Push it soft, then hard.
  2. You need a ball, tape, a yellow note, a blue note and a long floor.
  3. One: tape a start line and set the ball on it.
  4. Two: push softly; put the yellow note where the ball stops.
  5. Three: same ball, same line; push hard; put the blue note where it stops.
  6. Four: walk heel to toe to each note and count.
  7. Did the hard push go farther?
  8. Circle the check or the cross.
  9. If not, try again.
For the grown-up

Test it: push the same ball soft, then hard, from the same tape line. Mark where it stops each time.

Stay close: roll the ball, never throw it, on a clear floor away from stairs. Goal: K-PS2-1.
